Hey guys, I am making an applications sub-forum and I am wondering if there is a clean way to hide the post content, so you only have to/can enter info into the custom fields.

A few questions: I can't seem to find the XML block for RecentSlider in the newest version, could someone post it/link it to me? I can't for the life of me get a layout to work on the forums node list page. I seem to only be able to get custom layouts to work on individual forums.

I can seem to get the thread/post custom fields to show up. I created them for a specific forum, but when I go to the specified forum, they aren't there. Are there any additional steps other than straight up creating the custom field that you have to do?
