Thanks for the help. Is there any way I can allow all users to view notable members, current visitors and recent activity etc, but not the full list of registered members? The permission change above hides the members menu item from everyone but mods and admins.

How should I set the permissions so only moderators can see the list of registered users? I went to user groups and set allow for moderators and no for registered users, but that doesn't seem to work. I read over the permissions faq etc but I'm still confused!
