You can switch it off in the ACP. I've done that with my forum.

@AndyB's add-on will do what you want. Been subbing his add-ons for years and can vouch for their quality. He's even got a great version checker and updater add-on that makes updating them a breeze.

Just a bump for this thread as I think @GrnEyedDvl you've made some nice points in your opening post. Very few things in life are truly a 5 star product, so my personal rating is around 4-4.5 - and that's including all the valid criticisms about the product like comms, development cycles etc...

You do realise that the people running such an extremely illegal site would ensure that XF or the authorities would be unable to touch them, don't you? They would therefore just laugh in XF's face, so XF sending them a stern letter would be pointless and ridiculous.
