No, you're mistaken. As I said, it used to have the feature and there was even an add-on later to bring it back created by one of the Invision founders and programmers. On top of that, if it was really something so tough to maintain, then why does XF still have them after 14 years on the market...

It also happens with companies foisting their own preferences onto their customers. Got a great example. When I was choosing between forum software in 2021, I liked Invision and the many modules it supports, but hated that it didn't have post numbers. That's a real dealbreaker for me. The price...

lol, I'm the opposite to that, as dark mode looks so great to me, but much more importantly, helps to avoid eyestrain of these tired eyes of mine and migraine, lol. I agree with making both versions available and in fact, I allow many different styles for my site and must finish them sometime...

@MaximilianKohler When a post is edited by a mod, a History option shows up, allowing the full original post to be viewed and also reverted to, if necessary. Only mods can see this though and I don't think there's any way to let regular users see their post history. Editing a user's post is...

@Sadiq6210 this could kill your forum, so it might be worth you enabling 2FA. It can cause some people to be locked out, yes, but it will stop these breaches in their tracks.

Ah, no wonder. Something like this can indeed result in some subtle bugs that will have you tearing your hair out. Props for finally nailing it.
