This add-on is what adds the "previous names" tab to the user profile, correct? In XF1.5 I can see username changes in that tab going back to 2012. In XF2.2 the tab doesn't show up unless there are changes from the past year.
Also, if I'm a moderator, where can I view the full username change...
Is this expected behavior?
Upgraded: XF1.5 and UE 2.7.9 --> XF 2.2.17 and UE 4.5.10
In XF1.5: All previous usernames show in public profiles
In XF2.2: Previous usernames only show in profiles and admincp for changes made in the past year
In the XF1.5 DB: xf_user_change_log has the past year...
I'm doing a test upgrade from 1.5 to 2.2.17. Everything seemed to go fine, but I noticed emojis aren't working even though I added $config['fullUnicode'] = true; to src/config.php during the upgrade.
When I run php cmd.php xf:convert-utf8mb4 it comes back with No convertable tables found. No...
Gone are the days when guys like @Mike Tougeron worked there. IIRC, back in the XF 1.0 days, he's the one that migrated their huge forum to Xenforo from their old proprietary forum software. We (TheForce.net) were also hosted by IGN back then and Mike did our Xenforo migration as well.
Yeah, I thought that too, but turns out they just changed the URL. Weird choice for the old URL to throw a 404 error instead of redirecting to the new domain.
Still having issues on my end unfortunately. I keep seeing popups on the bottom of the page that say "Something went wrong :(" while page content is trying to load.
I use Firefox primarily and I'm still unable to log in. However, if I switch to Chrome logging in will initially fail but then...
Is there a problem with the website? Install & Upgrade is unable to download files to upgrade the UI.X add-on and I get an error when I try to log in on the website. I was able to log in just fine and download the latest version of this theme a couple days ago.
We do pretty much the same thing. Our old board software (IGN SnowBoards) had an "unban request" system which was essentially a rudimentary ticketing system where a banned user could submit a request and communicate with the admins to negotiate their return to the forums.
Since XF1 didn't have...
Thank you for that info. The UBB data being MyISAM would certainly make sense considering how little of that data ended up surviving. Sounds like we need to look into database tuning before starting. I'm sure we've already done a little since moving to Xenforo, but it may have been years at this...
I'm not sure of our current server's capabilities but we did upgrade to a beefier one with significantly more CPU threads and memory a year or two ago.
What sort of things would cause database inconsistencies? The import issues we originally had may have been due to data from the oldest...
