Today I would like to send mass emails but I got an error.

Before I send the mass mails I tested it without errors.

Also the diagnostic works well.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue, using gmail email account here.
Any ideas how to go around or preferably fix this once and for all on gmail servers?

EDIT: It seems to be some kind of daily sent limit imposed by google, as about 169 emails passed, they are in the sent folder for this email account.

Although I realize this is not a google support forum, does anyone happen to know if we can increase or even disable this limit on google account?

TIA,

I just had this problem when my servers daily email send limit was reached. In my case it was set to 200 emails.

If you're on Direct Admin it's pretty simple to increase the daily limit.

Just SSH into your server as root and then type:

Code:
sudo nano /etc/virtual/user_limit
sudo nano /etc/virtual/limit

You'll probably have to increase both these limits for a large forum.

user_limit is how many emails each individual email address can send. (Mine was set to 200).
limit is how many emails each user account can send. (Mine was set to 1000).
