The combined words in a message should be the exclamatory not the punctuation is my guess...how far off am I Ashley? My logic for this
Actions speak louder than words ...both are louder than a post sentence marking which is merely a formality of written commune which is incidental of communication as a whole. It's all about those thousand word pictures.

Close EQ. I have a tendency to use exclamation marks which as you say detract from the words. So I am learning to use the exclamation mark less.

I would have to say keeping your post count minimal is a punctuation in and of itself to your posted message to anyone that noticed. Since you make perfect sense when you speak I would have to think that just is a random personal goal of yours and not related to any one specific event. Meh... I like reading into things, sorry if i seem out of line but your quite the intriguing individual.
