Okay, seems to work fine here in my browser. I wonder if it's something to do with the way it copies and pastes out of the app on the iPhone, that's the only time i get the error.

Right, when you go to a Thread and use the share icon and choose "copy link" that it renders the URL in a browser. So that should make this feasible if we can get around the security errors.

Are you getting the badge app without clicking going into the site first? Best way to check is when you first see the notification on your iPhone, go and look at the badge before launching. So far this has not worked for me on any site.

Notifications working as they should but not getting the badge app icon unless I go into the site first, same experience on my own site.

That's right, and it has to be through Safari on the iPhone, forgot about that.
