You may want to report this as a bug if you used the default importer. It may be a user error when using the importer but if not it shouldn't be replacing the DOB field.
Unless of course it was a conscious choice to have all your members 1020 years old 🙂
Isn't that where the age is meant to be if the user displays their age?
I think it goes:
User title. Age. Location.
So may be worth checking those fields.
It essentially imports the second database into the first (so no option to retain ids).
Interesting comment about there not being any how-to's. I haven't used the importer so can't comment on the specifics sorry!
If you're maintaining your blogs with the use of a blog add on - speak to the author of the addon. @Bob has a popular one (other blog addons do exist (tm))
Otherwise you can import them as threads through the software...
While this is great news can I just say I'm extremely disappointed that I now have to pay attention for 7 days of the week for new releases.
I didn't even realise there were days after Tuesday? Apparently there are.
Unacceptable.
They have however bought/acquired/inherited 2 addons that were initially third party developed.
Media Gallery was Chris' (they subsequently employed him along with the addon)
Passkeys for 2.3 is Shawn's - (aka digitalpoint)
