I actually was writing to ask what if I never do get that confirmation email? I had it resent, seems like I've been waiting a half hour now.

But I may as well ask you, since I don't know where to post this and may never be able to. Keir did a couple of excellent videos, one in particular on adding photos, but though the forum I used hasn't migrated to xenForo yet, I still suspect the video is out of date, based on a user's video I saw that shows a much more stream-lined process. For our user documentation, we want to link to videos instead of writing text, and I would prefer to link to a xenForo video than one produced by another user. Are you planning on doing more or newer videos on basic user functions?

Still no confirmation email. Maybe it's not automated and you send them manually? My email address looks correct on the message saying where it has been sent, and when I tried to log in via Facebook, it said it recognized the email address, did I want to link my account here to that. What if I had typed it in incorrectly? I don't see any way to fix that. I don't think that's the problem here, though.

Thanks for a reply, and if you can figure out how to get me on your system, that would be good too.

I found the confirmation emails, and the notice of this ticket, but I don't know where they are! I had to do a search on xenforo to find them. I also managed to see them listed under the Important label, but they are not in spam, and they do not show in my Inbox. When I do a search and open them from Search results, I have a "Move to Inbox" button. But also I have the button showing that they're in the Inbox with the delete button to remove that label. I'm using gmail, which you can see by my address. I have never had this happen before that received mail is there but does not display, comes in in some secret mode. All three of the xenForo messages came in that way. I have no idea how I will find out if you reply to me. I'll have to remember to keep doing a search.

Video documentation is produced as and when required to demonstrate new functionality.
We don't have any particular plans at this time to create any additional ones.

Which confirmation email are you referring to?
If it is for a forum account, check your spam folder as there are currently no known issues with emails being sent.

Well, a message just arrived with an earlier sent time than is on your messages, and now the account confirmation message sent an hour ago just appeared in my Inbox. I watched it appear. And now I see that I have a reply from Paul Brogan, which I don't see here yet, and he hasn't seen my posting here.

Thanks, Paul. I see your note here now. I'm sorry to hear that your documentation will only be for sys admins, since the videos you do have are so well done, and are so close to being exactly what would be useful for users. Anyway, I appreciate the speedy reply.

Yes, it was for the forum account, which was who knows where, not in spam, but not appearing in my inbox until an hour after it had arrived and was viewable via a search. I'm in now.

Yes, but the emails from both behaved the same way, not showing up in my inbox even though they had arrived and were accessible via a search. Anyway, you can consider this closed, unless you want to convince Keir to do some user videos. Thanks.
