XF 2.1 White screen or “unable to access this site”

Hi everyone!

Pretty much everyone can access my forum just fine, but one person in particular is getting a white screen in Safari OR a “unable to access this site” error in Chrome. They tried a link from Facebook, and manually typing the web address.

I have contacted my hosting, and they said they’re not sure what the problem is. They did a few basic checks and made sure that it wasn’t an IP block on the server.

Is there anything we can do from a user end, while we wait to see if the hosting can figure it out?

If it's just one member and it happens with multiple devices and browsers, then it potentially points to an ISP/routing issue.

Can they access it from another network/ISP - a free wifi hotspot for example.

I’ll see if they can access it on mobile. Any steps we can take if they can? I’m guessing contact their ISP?

If it's confirmed to be an ISP issue then yes, they would need to contact them.

tell them if they have vpn and if they can acceess using vpn kn another contry then that will be an ISP issue
