What's New cut-off time

What's new does not show what's new, but the last X entries in each content type.
Naturally the activity in each content type is different. For example on my Whats new page I have 6 content types. While several blocks show fresh content, our resources are 6 months OLD stale content. There is no point displaying this OLD content on the Whats NEW page.

I suggest to implement a cut-off time in days, so that only recent content is displayed.
Please add a setting in admincp option to set the cut-off time. Content older than this should not be displayed on What's new.

This would greatly improve the whats new page.

Good point. I didn't think of that. Resources tend to be static in nature, and not all of us will use them for software. I'm looking at ways to convert the pages of a WordPress site over to XF, and if they're placed in Resources, they might get one new entry per year.
