XF 1.2 vbulletin 4.2.2 import

Hey guys I work on a board with 190k posts and we did an import to XenForo 1.2.2 last night and went very well. I have a problem with a mod we have on vBulletin that mentions users. When we converted to xF the mentions came out like:

[MENTION=503]Tyler[/MENTION]

I was wondering if there was a way I could change them to @ or delete them? Or would it be worth uninstalling the mod before the import?

Another quick question the site uses vb4 friendly urls would I need to put anything in the .htaccess for it to redirct to the correct threads?

Any help would be appriciated!

Hmmm ... not sure that uninstalling would get rid of the mention tags. You could ask the addon maker.
