XF 1.1 VBseo link to xenforo link

Hi

Just imported my forum to xenforo. everything was fine. While importing i keep the source id.

Now i need to create a rewrite rule for my old url to new url.

for example
http://www.8051projects.info/forum/doubts-my-projects/33-temperature-controlled-fan-at89s52.html

should redirect to

http://www.8051projects.info/threads/temperature-controlled-fan-at89s52.33/

Here 33 is the thread id, which is same for both urls.

Anybody help for the rewite rule for it.

Put it your .htaccess file in the /forum directory:

RewriteRule ^[^/]+/([0-9]+)-[^\.]+\.html$ /threads/$1/ [R=301,L]

I am using this, which works fine for me. Is that ok?

RewriteRule forum/[^/]+/([0-9]+)-([A-Za-z0-9-]+)-([0-9]+)\.html http://www.8051projects.info/threads/$2.$1/page-$3 [L,R=301]

That works if your .htaccess is in the web root and there is no /forum directory on the server.
