We have a forum setup using (vBulletin 3.8.6 Patch Level 1

Where can I find information on how to migrate to xenForo?

has anyone migrated from the same 3.8.6 vb version and was the process easy?

There is a built in importer for vB 3.8.

The process is quite straightforward and basically involves entering some configuration settings, stepping through the process, setting up the forum/user groups/permissions, etc., then installing redirection scripts.

I came over from vb 3.8. The process is very easy, very simple.

I find it simpler than an XF to XF import because you dont have to specify the routes of the internal data and data folders.

I migrated from MyBB to XF and the conversion was super easy. You won't regret migrating to XF. Just do the import, and you should be good to go.

If downtime is of an issue to you, you can use the Big Board importer by @Slavik. That is if you are willing to spend the money or can afford it. You also have to comfortable with CLI, but you could import a big board like yours in maybe an hour or two.
