XF 2.2 User Upgrade not applying

Heyo

After upgrading to XF2 I started to have user upgrades not being applied but the user still getting charged on their paypal account. This only happens when it is a recurring payment and not a one time payment. The users have a payment profile setup and there are no errors logged (there is for a stripe user but it still goes through and applies the role). The paypal account is a business account with IPNs enabled. Any ideas? It's not consistent either which makes this hard to track down, some users it works just fine and others it does not.

Unsure what's happening here as there are no payment/server errors. Is there a a way to make the payment log print what's happening?

We removed paypal from the recurring upgrades. Now it's happening with one time payments. We have no idea what's happening as there are no error logs.

Check the details of one of the PayPal log entries.

Also check the change log of the related member to see if there are any entries related to it.
