Time delay between posts?

I have some members trying to flood my post leader board, is there anyway to set a time limit between posts?

There is a flood timer in the options and also a permission for it.

I looked at user permission groups and only able to limit editing times

I need to slow down people cheating a top poster add on, they're basically spamming my forum

Nothing comes up under flood at all

Also, if you use the Discourage feature on the users that are causing problems then the Flood Time Multiplier under User Discouragement might come in handy.

Or you can just ban the troublemakers.

Oh no. Don't ban them. If you ban them, they'll just re-register with a new user name and start all over. It's much more effective to just cause them mayhem every time they try to load a page or post something. Odds are they'll just give up and go spam someplace else.
