The Showcase add-on uses the XF attachment system as far as I know.

I don't believe it would as it is only built to allow you to use/control thumbnails on forum threads only.

Not at this time as we have been concentrating on XF 2.0 add-ons and themes. But it has been reported on our GitHub Issue Tracker.

Off the top of my head, the only directory is internal_data/thumbnail_cache

However, we do plan on having a Thumbnails add-on available for XF2, so I would recommend against uninstalling it and completely removing the data as the xf2 version will have an upgrade process to retain your existing thumbnails

Https: / SSL support would be great I use the script but the thumbnails use http:// instead of https:// and breaks the security icon in the browser.

(I use the image proxy - but this doesn´t help)

I am getting thumbnails appear in the sidebar (BD widget framework) on threads/forums where I have not specified the the thumbnails to be used. I do not get this problem when using the Waindigo version. Any ideas?

FYI - This does not play nicely with the updates to [bd] Widget Framework (version 2.6.3 which was just released today).

I had to disable it for the time being until TH is able to update.

Is there any chance of integrating something like the built-in utility which allows you to crop your avatar when a user uses the option to explicitly choose a thumbnail image? It would help give some visual cues to avoid stretching aspect ratios.
