I'm unable to replicate your issue. I've just tested this out on a brand new installation, posted threads in 8 forums and then disabled each one at a time and checked that the counter updated. It worked fine. Please make sure you have uploaded all the files correctly, ensuring you have the very latest version of both add-ons.

Reupload the files fixed it.

This was working, yet I had some reports this weekend that the add-on is no longer working. A quick check and I can confirm, that even if a forum is checked to be ignored, it still shows up.

Anyone know of a way to have a particular node checked by default to ignore? I want one forum to ignore all new posts for all members, but allow members to opt-in to that node.
