Sorry thisisnt ontopic for this addon but if you're playing with the BBcode editor Jon how about
1) columns
2) wrap text on graphic
3) page anchor links

If when you remove their access to the forum you also take away their permission to post URLs in that forum then yes, that is an intentional feature. You might want to check whether you are revoking that permission?

Hi,

first of all: Thanks for that great addon.

However, one spammer in @Micha's board found a way to bypass the protection.

[url]http://complete-url[/url]

makes stars

[URL='http://complete-url']url-without-http:// (but with www.)[/URL]

seems to make stars too.

but

[URL='http://complete-url']url-without-http://-and-without-www.[/URL]

makes an actually clickable link. Would be awesome if you could look into that

Or to be more precisely, the link actually isn't exactly clickable. But the anchor text is visible, so you could copy-paste this into your address bar.

This is as designed. It is not possible to recognise whether a piece of text is a link or not if it doesn't start with http:// or www.

If you'd like all links to be starred, even (for example):

[URL='http://complete-url']Description of Complete URL link[/URL]

then I'd be happy to add an option for that. Please contact me by PM to discuss contributing/donating.

Just to clarify, this add-on already supports the the [URL], [EMAIL], [IMG] and [MEDIA] BB code tags.

Is there any way to not only prevent users from using the [URL], [EMAIL], [IMG] and [MEDIA] BB code tags but and/or to prevent users (e.g. guests) from seeing the results of these the[URL], [EMAIL], [IMG] and [MEDIA] BB codes?

It would apply to all [MEDIA] tags.
