just asking... this came up with this? http://xenforo.com/community/threads/post-ownership.25094/
Yep I saw that but also we've had the recent issue with XenFans and I wondered whether that contributed (and whether "content" includes add-ons).
Thanks.. but mike...No connection to XenFans or anything like that. It's an update to the default XenForo rules, really to just give admins a little bit more control over the content provided -- the concepts in that Post Ownership thread are related/similar to the changes made. Nothing untoward about it.

We don't have intention of keeping add-ons around that people don't want to keep, though I would discourage people from removing their add-ons if they don't want to maintain them. At least open source (BSD) the code and/or let someone else pick it up.
Yes I agree- the reference to "Guidelines" is vague and later refers to "our Guidelines"...the new text refers to "Guidelines".
where to see those "Guidelines" ?
The XenForo privacy policy is here: http://xenforo.com/privacy-policy/Can we also have a link for "Privacy Policy" for our own forums ?
Where are "our guidelines" defined?which links to material that violates our Guidelines.
A law is NOT a Guideline...otherwise violates any laws ("Guidelines")

My guess is that (using your work as an example) - if you posted a smiley pack, they could then include that smiley pack in the core product. Can you please explain this further? Are you saying you can (we grant you permission) to post derivatives of other peoples resources?
