suPHP vs APC

    I currently have suPHP running on my server and obviously can't run APC to take advantage of the caching abilities of xF. Are their others I can use, since so far most people have recommended I not disable suPHP and install APC

    APC will not help you if your Apache uses prefork mpm. Either you should move to worker mpm + mod_php or use fcgi php configuration using php-fpm + mod_fastcgi.

    Or you can simply dump Apache all together :D

    Sure Nothing wrong with Apache ... but we like to give the new guy a chance, ;)
