I think you can set the max length of a post in general, right? I don't think an additional limit is needed...
Setting a nesting limit is to limit the amount people can nests lists to, to prevent them for forcing horrendous amounts of vertical scroll.

This needs to be added.

so there is no way to set maximum lines per post? cause of there would be, there 'd be no need for this as I stated

You get the idea... A post in text could easily be over 30 lines and limiting this is just pointless... however allowing there to be any more than 10+ nested list elements should be stopped... there is no need for more than this...

Honestly, a user posting like that should be banned :p
However I don't see a reason to prevent decent posts to be limited (not really sure what kind of posts would need that depth of course :p )
that being said, I wouldn't mind it being limited either...
