    Hi,

How long does it take for an Email to be sent to someone when they forget their password? I can't find a setting to push the email *now* and I've got a user that's been waiting over an hour. They've checked their spam box, I've double checked their Email address with them and nothing...

    Thanks,
    Renada :)

Assuming your mail server doesn't queue mails, it should be more or less immediate.

    Who is their mail provider?
They could be blocking mails at the server so it won't even reach their spam folder.

Are you sending mails from a dedicated domain address or using e.g. Google?

They're using Yahoo and I don't think it's being blocked by them or they wouldn't have been able to sign up to the forum in the first place.

    I'm using a dedicated domain.

I'll get him to do it again and see what happens.

    Thanks,
    Renada :)

No, a reminder email can't be sent via the ACP.

A member can request one at any time though via the Lost Password form.
You can also do it on their behalf by entering their user name or email address.

Just click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the log in dropdown.
