Currently if you have a prefix created but it isn't assigned to any forums or groups, it still appears on the search page in the Thread Prefixes selection window.
Ideally these unallocated prefixes wouldn't be visible as they won't return any results anyway.
Either that, or a checkbox to disable them would be just as good.
Additionally, the permissions should ideally be taken into account so prefixes you don't have access to don't appear.
