There is a setting in the options page to disable detection on mobiles. Make sure it's set to allow detection on mobiles.Just a comment for @rellect - Dolphin browser (iOS app) adblocker is not detected at all (and blocks ads). Thanks in advance if you can have a look![]()
Minor update
- The js file path corrected to load from CDN (if configured in the site)
- Fixed a fallback detection test in firefox
Hey,Hi,
This is a great add-on that I'll get soon. Could we get an option to show some alert and the first post only?
This would give some more motivation to get members to register.
Thanks
Not currently. And I would still love to be able to have a different kind of notice for registered and one for unregistered users. Is there maybe any workaround how I could manage to do this myself?
It happens because when loading is stopped in the middle it also aborts the adblock check, and this automatically detected as action of an adblocker. There is code in place to check if page was aborted manually, but seems it doesn't always work. I'll see if there's something I can do to improve it.Since last update I get a lot of reports from registered members that they are sometimes seeing the adblock notice for a short moment, e.g. if the page is still loading and they already click on "New posts".
Yes I'm aware of that, but it makes more sense the way it is now. It will be confusing if Unlimited will mean one time alert.I've a problem with the permissions of "Show alert every X hours".
Currently "Unlimited" means "Always show the ad block alert" and "0" means "Show one time and never again".
However XenForo stacks permissions from "0" to "Unlimited". So, if you give the "Registered" users group (where everyone is in) the permission "Umlimited" to show the alert at every page view you cannot override it with any settings in other groups.
I suggest to change that to have "0" to always show the alert and "Unlimited" to show it only once. This would perform much better with different user groups.

Anyway, in future updates there will be a whole new interface to allow more flexibility.
What do you mean by "AdBlock can choose to hide the notices"?AdBlock can choose to hide the notices. Would be nice to know if they are, and if so applying a new option such as re-direct.
I see, you're talking about a situation where user manually removes the "disable adblock" notice. I'll see what I can do about it.AB allows you to block anything on a page. It's easy and takes under 10s to hide notices, pop-up notices, etc.
