As the attachment shows geotags in this media gallery suggestion, this is a huge privacy concern forum-wide, with points detailed.
Furthermore, it goes against XF's own privacy policy on what you do with the information and how you protect it.
This is a suggestion that should be looked at and implemented ASAP and forum owners should take note to update your privacy policies ASAP until addressed because of the points given.

I don't know if the two should be merged or the other moved as I found it to afflict both media gallery and the forum at large (unsure about RM).
Though this suggestion should not be implemented based upon likes, but the protection of real people in real communities.
The suggestion here if not merged:
On the very first uploaded photo/attachment, there should be an option to "Remove geotagging" and "Always remove geotagging" from photos, changeable at any time under the privacy settings.
