XF 1.2 Primary & Secondary Groups

When I put a user into a premium group as the primary group, they get the premium member roles and can see the special forum I have set up.

But...
When I put a user into a premium group as the secondary group and "registered" as the primary group, they get the premium member title, but can not see the special forum that I have set up for premium members.

what am I doing wrong?

When setting up special forums like this, you should mark it as private forum and then give only that special usergroup Allow access. You should not deny access to any other usergroup.

See the link I added to my post. There's an option on the node to set it private. That eliminates access for everyone until you explicitly give them access to that node.
