Yes it can. I'm using it for Rugby League. Basically anything that involves a contest of any sort can be catered.

If Sportbooks and betting exchange suitable for soccer too? What is the difference that and pickem? I prefer odds to be shown in the match and when end of the matches, member can get profit according to the odds payout...pls advise as I cant find more information anywhere... Appreciated it..

Yes it is suitable. I use both those add-ons plus a few others of Bob's. Pickem is basically for tipping comps. Sportsbook basically a virtual bookie. Yes if a member bets on the outcome and it's correct they do get virtual dollars added to their balance. There's lots of info on these add-ons on Bob's site. If you need examples PM me and I'll send you my website URL - it's Rugby League and season is finished for this year though.

For NBA, are the matches automatically added to the system each week, or does the admin need to add each match manually? In other words, does the system automatically handle match creation based on the actual NBA schedule? Thanks in advance.

Its all manual so that it can be used for any team vs team sport. Its not bad for managing seasons for NCAA Football or NFL or Soccer, but it could be a chore for NBA.

All Administration is handled in the Admin CP, so you need to make that user an Administrator and give that user the Administrator Permission "Manage Pickem".

Found it. I get this error when trying to create a pool.

That is because you had not configured your sport yet (which includes creating seasons, weeks, games). Creating a Pool is the last step in the process.

Initial Configuration takes awhile as there are A LOT of things you need to add based on the SPORT Types that you wish to use.

A Pool is associated with a Season within a Sport, so you need to configure a SPORT with at least 1 Season with at least 1 Week, with at least 1 Game before you can create your first Pool.

• Create Sport (if doesn't already exist)
  • Create Teams for Sport
  • Create Season(s) for Sport
    • Create Week(s) for Season
      • Create Games for Week
• Create Pool (associate with a specific Season of a Sport).

Yes, Team vs Team (won't work for what you want to do).
