XenForo includes the User Upgrades feature, whereby you can accept payments in return for the promotion to an additional usergroup. This is perfect for accepting donations.

OK I'm checking this out for processing payments. Sorry lots of Questions.

I need this for specific usergroups only - not for all members. Possibly just one usergroup it dpends how the upgrade system works.

I guess I'd set it to upgrade them to a Paid usergroup if they make a payment within the timeframe?

There is an initial admin fee ....
then 3 main packages.
1 item monthly.
1 item termly (12 weeks)
1 item annually.
My users sometimes switch from one package to another. Not sure how to manage that - Currently they just tell me that's what they want to do.

Then there is similar set of packages for
2 items monthly (discount)
2 items termly (12 weeks)(discount)
2 items annually (discount)

I assume I can also set this upgrade manually if a payment is made another way - just tick the Paid usergroup? Found Manual upgrade control.

Just to make life interesting it's a 10 month year so I need to cancel .he whole thing 2 months of the year! How do I suspend the upgrade process? Found controls to enable/ Disable

I'd need to use Premier paypal - but paypal hide their fees - so what's the extra I pay for this?
