I can say with 99.9% that it is probably a human spammer then. Strange that that IP hit your site and has not had any reported spam activity in about 7 months.

You need to enable the permission for the Admin group, and then it should be available at the top of your main screen.

Look for the "Spaminator log" link -- but enable it to be seen by your admin group first in the permissions.

I used this following link in order to ban the required IP address: /admin.php?banning/ips

Anyway, I guess the plugin is blocking a lot of attempts.

I would have to say that it was a human that registered, then either they posted the spam, or they had a automated program post it.

11,219 automated registration attempts stopped with this so far on my site. Zero spam.

I actually had my first spammer happen last night, from China. Actually posted a spam message, but it was a human being. In a matter of four minutes, the person used 9 different IP addresses. I don't fault the Spaminator, because it wasn't an automated registration attempt (as far as I can tell).

In 2.5 weeks, I'm at 2,914 attempts foiled, as of right now.
