Yes, if I recall correctly, because it's plugging into the base canViewForum function (i.e. it's as if the user was removing their own permission instead of an admin doing so).

No, it doesn't have permissions-to-use.

Addon installed with no errors, I've tried install it twice. After installing link /account/optional-forums show an error "Error: The requested page could not be found." Node Tree options are shown correctly. Forum error log is empty. Server error log is empty.
