Make username unlinkable?

I can't seem to figure out how to make usernames remove the link that pops up member cards.

Global, site I'm developing uses external facebook information only.

Try overriding the helperUsername function in XenForo_Template_Helper_Core so they link to Facebook instead.

remove the css classes avatar and username from the links.
They're triggering the overlay

I want them to keep their avatar, I just want no where on the site their username clickable.
