Limiting the multiple-choice dropdown option

When create a custom field for users, there are two options regarding dropdowns: single select & multiple select. However, there currently isn't the ability to throttle a user's selections after a certain number.

For example, if I'm creating a custom field that would allow a user to display their 3 favorite sports teams all in one row under the same field... I don't appear to have that option. I believe this option was available in vBulletin (a long time since I've used it), but I can't seem to perform this action on Xenforo.

Any suggestions or help?

Ah, that makes sense. I don't think I've seen a solution by him here yet for that issue... but maybe he'll have the time to code one at some point!
