Somebody offers to me a xenforo licence which was purchased on
October 6, 2010 and expires on March 13, 2012

How can be?
I understand that you have to pay 40usd for one more year or support... but not for 1 year and a few months..

All support started from the official release date of 1.0.0, which was 8 March, plus a random number of additional days.

I don´t understand....
Licence purchased on October 6, 2010, must expired on October 6, 2011
Then you will be able to pay for another year of support, until October 6, 2012

But why this licence expires on March 13, 2012?

People were allowed to purchase the beta release of XenForo before it went official.
As an additional incentive to adopt early, licenses bought during the beta period will have 12 months of updates and support starting from the date when XenForo 1.0 is released as a stable and supported version.

I have already explained that above, if you would bother to read my post: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/licence-with-17-months-of-support.22579/#post-282379

Licenses are for life, only additional 12 month support must be purchased, if desired.
