Just received a free £100 google adwords voucher in the post.

Do you have to register your credit card when you sign-up for the free ads? So that when they run out you can buy more "instantly"?

I'm just wondering what the hook is, other than the obvious "try it and you might like it and buy more"?

Cheers,
Shaun

No, you can choose manual payments.

With manual payments, you pay in advance of ad activity. You make a payment first, then run your ads. We deduct advertising costs from your balance as you accrue them.

Just received mine today. Well luckily not HUF 100, as I predicted :D, but HUF 15,000, which is a little under £50.

I'm sure I'll be able to use it for something. :) My forum should be up and running by the time I need to use it up, maybe it will be used for that... :)

maybe it will be used for that... :)

Or not... Does yours say it is only for NEW adwords accounts?

I've been an adwords customer for quite some time, why the heck do they send me a promotion that's only for accounts created within the last 21 days? The "detailed" terms on the web even say 14 days instead of 21.

I used about £35 of my last £100 voucher and then cancelled the campaign.

I just received another £100 voucher via email and after applying it to my account, this was the result:

:ROFLMAO:

Google spotted the mistake, unsurprisingly.

The bad news is they removed the £75,000 :(

The good news is they gave me an extra £50 so I now have £217.40 :D
