XF 1.2 Is there a way to combine Navigation bar links/tabs into a single dropdown menu/tab?

Checked the RM and did a few searches and I couldn't come up with anything. I'm getting a bit overloaded with add-on navbar links and was wondering if there was some way to merge a few of them into something that resembles the default Xenforo theme mobile responsive handling of them? Obviously, on the desktop, of course.

You wouldn't think this would be that difficult. Anyone?

I believe in theory a plugin can hook the nav tab variables before the template draws them in addition to replacing the template altogether. A Nav Manager that could do such a thing would be able to move, erase tabs at run time.

That not existing your best bet is to use a Nav Manager solution that does exist, add links to the route of the Tab's you want to remove and then remove the Tabs that are now on your drop down. That will be different for each one, many plugins you can change an option some might need the listener edited.

A navigation manager is essential and hopefully it is coming in the new update.
