XF 1.3 Is there a simple way to pull thread reply count onto external page?

Coding beyond simple HTML is outside my grasp, but I'm wondering if there is a simple way to pull a thread's post count onto an external webpage?

I'm looking for a way to have a number count of "readers comments"; like autos.ca/ as an example.

The short answer in no, not with PHP coding skills.

With PHP you can easily write code to query the XenForo database directly.
