I am not using any Instant messenger like yahoo or ICQ.

I just came across a few users on my Forum are posting their Yahoo-messenger ID into other peoples profiles and asking them to get in touch.

    - is this safe for the user who is leaving his Yahoo-messenger-ID publicly or will he receive any spam because of this P
    - when a user is leaving his messenger-ID´s: should I assume that this user is a spammer ?

    Appreciate your help and advise!
    Many thanks.

If your member profiles are set to public (and robots are allowed to access) then it'll most likely be indexed which could cause spam. No, you shouldn't assume they are a spammer unless you have reason to. I often drop some form of contact e-mail if someone wants to talk.
