Internal Server Error ~ NEED HELP!

When ever I try to install XenForo after copying it up to my server, I get this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@withergaming.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I did change data and internal_data to 0777 so I don't know why this could be happening.. please help!

Have you confirmed the server meets the requirements?
You can check those on the purchase page: https://xenforo.com/purchase/

Otherwise you will need to check the server error log to see what the specific error is.

That's for the root, not the requirements script, but it's saying the error is "forbidden". Additionally, that's the access log rather than any error log.

If the requirements script doesn't work, I suspect your PHP configuration may be broken. Do you have any other PHP scripts working?

I have a few WordPress sites running on my server, don't those have PHP scripts?

They do. In that case, you really need to find the error log where this is being reported as there is effectively nothing to go on without that.

Hmm.. all the file ownership is set to "cobra2" which is the cPanel username..
