XF 1.2 Import Question For Forum Currently Installed in /Forums/

I am working on converting http://www.reef2reef.com/ to xenForo. We currently have vBulletin 4.2 installed in /forums/ and the root is using vBadvanced.

I would like to do the following when I convert it to xenForo:

1) Install xenForo in the root
2) Keep xenForo forum homepage at /forums/
3) Use a page or xenPorta at root
4) Have all my redirects work from vBulletin urls.

Is this doable without screwing up the redirects? I know that xenForo uses the /forums/ route by default.

Doesn't seem like it should be too difficult, no. What does the URL structure look like?

First thing I would inform you is you're going to lose the .html extension that vBSEO gives you. So it is possible to re-write those re-writes, but like with any move you are going to take a hit in SEO, even with the re-writes.
