    Hi All,

I tried to install forum watch add on. I extract the file and upload it to server. Then try browse the .xml file from 'Install from Uploaded File'.
But i have the error 'The files associated with this add-on could not be found. Please upload them and try again.'

You need to ensure you have uploaded the files to the correct folder.

Let me download that Resource and check the instructions...

What exactly did you upload to the server?

Did you upload the upload folder or did you upload the library folder?

when installing xenforo, i created the community directory then upload all the file the the directory and started the installation. i did the same way to upload the forum watch add on.
i extracted the [bd] Forum Watch 1.1 file. The result is __MACOSX directory, upload directory, addon-ForumWatch.xml, and readme. i copied all the file under directory \upload\library\forum watch to the community directory.

I went to admin cp and install add on

    Thanks,
    Irawan

This is where you have gone wrong.

You need to upload everything in the "upload" directory to the "community" directory.

So it will look something like this:

    directory.PNG

    Hi Yorick,

I already had the library directory before. do you mean i should copy the file to the library directory?

    Thanks,

If it's easier, think of it this way:

    1) Forget the upload directory and the library directory you extracted and find the directory called ForumWatch
    2) Put that ForumWatch directory onto your server into the library directory that's already there.

It should then look like this:
