How to add a second image to header

A really simple solution would be to make one image with the text on the left and the existing image on the right.

Is there any reason why you can't do it that way?

At the present time it was more an issue of flexibilty. The ability to change text and or image was the reason for the question.

The other thought though is how could I control positioning of text (left) image (right) when the browser width is changed and they are as one image? It would have to be changed to a fixed style.

I think your only option is to go fixed (which is not to my taste :) ) or have a full PNG banner as Brogan suggested :)

When I was working with the vb3 series, I did 3 part headers quite often, I still have the code. Now if someone can rewrite that code for XenForo, you are more than welcome to it.
