    Hi,

I am setting up a google news RSS feed to get some relevant news on my forum.

This is what the posts look like:
    rss.jpg

I am happy with the result, but as you can see the image does not show up.
Here is a link to the RSS feed:
    https://news.google.no/news/feeds?pz=1&cf=all&ned=no_no&hl=no&q=hairloss&output=rss

As you can see, the image that is supposed to be posted is this:
If I edit the post made by the feed, this is the image url that shows up:
    https://news.google.no//t2.gstatic....PtUfFxBQfHBoPHjB2_Ja0b9FmmN-IRJHOJMvvi1WGJGi0

Is there any way to fix this? If so, how?

    The image URL is invalid.
The problem is with the feed.

Ok I have been trying to fix this all day, but I dont know what I can do.
    Here is the problem:
The image URLs is posted like this in the RSS feed: https://news.google.no//t0.gstatic.com/images?q=123abc
If I remove the news.google.no// the image link works. So my question then is if its possible to get xf to rewrite the RSS feed? Just to remove the news.google.no// from all the image URLs?

Try adding @AndyB image hotlink add ons as this may download the images from the feed itself.

I dont have the requirements needed, and I dont think it would have worked since the img link is broken. But thanks :)

Well I am on my mobile now so I could not check your links but when I get back to my PC I will give it a go for you and see what it does if you want

Sorry for the late reply but I only got to this now. Your RSS feed is no good by the looks of it as it gives the following error

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

@AndyB fixed an add-on that lets you remove text from posts. I think he is putting the add on out in resources. Works like a charm now :)
