Even more wildlife in the backyard ....

Just had a rather large one of these crawl along the back fence

Blue Tongue Lizard, we like them as they eat all manner of nasties .... Sorry couldn't get to the camera in time to get a shot of one in the wild so to speak.

That's quiet a cool lizard. Haven't seen one like that here, but got to see some huge iguanas every once in a while.

Nope.. they are not food, well not for us non-indigenous folks.

These are quite common in the south of Turkey.
This was taken in Dalaman where there are flying fish, eagles, Kingfishers and of course the famous turtles.
I still can't believe I swam in the lake where they live...bloody idiot

Finland. That was taken literally in the backyard. I think we have only those and a handful of the flying kind.

That picture was taken about 10 km away from the downtown. Many times people know only the capital so there's no reason to mention towns.
