Revert any outdated templates and re-apply the changes for your style.

Or ask the style author to update it.

Have you checked in the Style Properties: Node Icons the correct paths are pointing to the correct images and/or spritesheet?

Try doing what Brogan suggested, if that still fails check to see if the image(s) reside on the server. when we updated to beta 1 they disappeared and i remember having to correct the paths for the custom style with the new spritesheet.

I had a little problem using my old node icons. Make sure the width value is set right and I set the position to 0 0 and they are back to normal now.

If you want to replace the spritesheet with the old method (singular images) for a quick fix

    Go to
appearence >> styles >> yourstyle >> style property groups >> node icons

    node icon forum

    replace image with @imagePath/xenforo/widgets/forum-read.png
    delete the position

    node icon unread forum
    replace image with @imagePath/xenforo/widgets/forum-unread.png
    delete the position

Did he have to create a folder in the main section xenforo ?

Can you help me from teamviewer ?

I created a new sprite set, uploaded it in widgets then set appropriate path and that was it no issues.

Instead of asking if they can look at it through teamviewer have you got a test board they can get the admin credentials for or a link to your site?
