XF 2.0 Customer Thread Field - image?

Hi,

Is it possible to have a custom thread field have a requirement that an image is attached? For example a review based custom thread arrangement where one of the required fields is that a user must upload an image?

It would require custom development. There was a addon for XF1 that did that, but it has been abandoned.
