I want to create a guest forum whereby non members can post but their posts are moderated.

What is the best way to go about this, I have created the category and forum but I am struggling with the permissions.

Set the option in the node to Moderate all messages posted in this forum.

Set the node permissions for Post new thread and Post replies to Allow for the Unregistered / Unconfirmed user group.

Thanks but I am struggling here!

Home >> Display Node Tree >> Category >> "Guest Forum"

I then have displayed the default groups, Administrative, Moderating, Registered and Unregistered/Unconfirmed.

Have I drilled down to the right place or am I being thick?

ACP -> Display Node Tree -> Click on the node title -> Select the Forum Options tab -> Check Moderate all messages posted in this forum.

ACP -> Display Node Tree -> Click on Permissions -> Click on Unregistered / Unconfirmed -> Set Post new thread and Post replies to Allow

Is it possible to disable the human verification requirement on the guest forum as I will manually moderate the posts.

Hmm that could be a good prod to register.
Add message beside the verification area
"You are not required to do this if you register as a member. REGISTER-LINK"
