Changing email address: confirmation email does not get sent

    Several of my users (all of whom have changed) have tried changing their email address but the system does not send any confirmation emails.

    Test emails get sent ok, registration emails get sent ok, all notifications get sent ok, just changing email address does not work, making the users unable to access their account.

    What should i try next?
    I have tried changing the email options but the problem keeps haunting me.

    Has it ever worked, for any other members?

    First thing to check would be the mail logs to make sure the emails are being sent.
    The next thing would be to get those members to check their spam folders.

    It has never worked to my knowledge.

    Spam folders are checked, i have tried changin my "news feed member" email address myself, same problem there.

    Are there any errors logs in the ACP or on the server?

    The newest errors in ACP are from 17.4.2011, nothing from today, although mail changes were made by atleast by 2 members, naturally, they received no confirmation emails.
