XF 2.1 Can't upgrade (one click ACP)

Hello,

I try to upgrade from XF 2.1.12 to XF 2.21 using the One-Click system but it doesn't work...

Error message: Not all files are writable. Please upgrade manually.

I double-checked and folders DATA, INTERNAL DATA, INSTALL are writable (0777)

I already upgraded from 2.09 to 2.1.12 using that system without having any technical issue but from 2.1.12 to 2.21 it doesn't work.

I can confirm my previous remark. I had the same problem om my production server just now.

2 files had a different owner. Changed them to www-data and the upgrade went fine.

Is your webserver (www-data in most cases) owner of all the web directories?

All files in your web root should be writable by the webserver. For me the files were located in the webroot.
