XF 1.2 Can't seem to export .xml file of a skin

Every time I try to click export for one of my skins it just takes me to the following link with a blank white page

mydomin.com/admin.php?styles/freon.68/export

Nothing gets downloaded, the white page just stays there.

This is happening after I switched to a new server. Could it be some sort of permission problems?

I apparently get the following error when I click on the link

No error that's related.

That error indicates your PHP is misconfigured and that it can't find DOMDocument:
http://php.net/manual/en/class.domdocument.php

You may be missing some of XenForo's other requirements as well. You may want to check that (they should be checked if you go into the upgrade system).

I've been helping someone with their site for a while now and I kept trying to tell them it was a hosting issue. They didn't exactly talk my word for it (someone else here jumped in the middle of it and was feeding them wrong information).

Your post has proven most useful and has won my argument.

Go and click "File Health Check" to see if all the files are on the server.

Except of course, [IF] you deleted "install" folder.

Using that, xenForo shows all files are fine.

I was missing the php xml extension. If someone else has a problem with this and has centOS, they can run the following command

yum install php-xml
